Sailing Croatia - Split to DubrovnikThis was an outstanding trip. I highly recommend it if you like sailing and lots of activities, learning about local food and culture and meeting new people. The skipper, Nickolus, was excellent. I’m an active senior and I was able to participate in all the activities offered, in part, because Skipper Nick was so skilled in facilitating our group. Individuals in our group were amazing. This trip just clicked. The weather and location was exceptional.

Sailing Croatia - Dubrovnik to SplitOverall it was a good experience. The boat was well fitted out and clean and the skipper was himself an excellent sailor. I question though the practice on the boat on which I sailed which failed to observe any safety measures, ie no distribution or mention of life jackets, harnesses or on-deck safety/recovery equipment, no MOB procedure. Personally, I would have liked much more hands-on practice and interaction. I came to sail and it seemed that the skipper was reluctant to involve the guests who wished to participate in more than a perfunctory manner. None of us were happy to be hustled off the boat at 8.30 am when leaving. Whilst appreciating that the boat had to be made ready for the next occupants, no hotel/hostel expects its guests to leave at this early time and we did not check in until 4.0 pm. The land-based activities were excellent and overnight stops were well thought out.

Croatia Sailing Adventure: Dubrovnik to SplitThis tour had a lot more sitting around then I expected, due to the weather conditions we only sailed once and due to being outside it was very hard to hear and understand the guide who had to repeat himself a couple times. Would be good to have a more formal itinerary with rotten down times, locations and things you can do like brochures for each island. The cabins are small so would reccomend reserving a room to yourself. Less time on island then expected.

Sail Split to Dubrovnik / Premium Boat, Above Deck CabinsI attended this trip during the first week of the season travelling on the pirate boat. The trip involved a lot of partying, sunbathing, and exploring the Croatian islands. My group was fantastic and contained majority of Kiwis/Aussies in their mid 20's. The crew went above and beyond to keep us satisfied and entertained throughout and kept the boat to a very high level of cleanliness. The food on-board was surprisingly very good and they were able to cater to my food allergy and also the couple of vegetarians on-board. Our guide Jojo provided excellent orientation tours in each city and showed a few lovely restaurants and got us free entry to all the night clubs. Highly recommend this trip!

Pearls of Adriatic cruiseWe enjoyed this trip very much. Fantastic scenery, good food, great crew, and interesting travel companions. Accommodations were basic, but comfortable and the ship was very nice for a relaxing journey along the coast and through the islands. Along with Croatia itself, the highlights were, surprisingly for us, swimming in the bays and the captain's dinner. Bonus was a great week of weather the last week of October.

Med Sailing in Croatia (from Dubrovnik to Split)The skipper Geoff was amazing, he was very knowledable and made our sailing very enjoyable with his knowledge of the local tourist spots, whether on land or at sea and made as many visits to islands to give us the overall feel of Croatia. We also felt very comfortable with his sailing skills as skipper and would travel again and recommend him to anyone who wants the whole experience. The meals were much better than on shore, there was no shortage of local produce to indulge in and the cooking when we had meals on board sensational. The water wasn't as warm as would be a little later, but gave you the exhilerating experience. The water is so clear and you can see through it like glass, you need to experience it for yourself, not just hear about it.The accomodation was great, we all had our own head (bathroom and toilet) so very private.

Croatia Cruise Southern Dalmatia - from SplitA+ was full so we had to downgrade to an A level ship. At first, looking at the size comparison of the two ships, I was disappointed at the size of our ship. However, I quickly learned to enjoy the ship. Ther is only a max of 20 travelers on board, so by the end of the cruise you knew everyone and were exchanging contact information. Also, because of the size, the crew gets to personally know you and your preferences. Breakfast was your basic continental but lunch was tasty and plentiful. The pricing for drinks were normal not inflated. The only downside were bunk beds and no air conditioner and the rooms were very small. However, you don't spend much time in your rooms. Despite that I would still book again. One warning, when you get into port at night, you tie up next to other boats and they can be rather noisy. If you are our age ..in our 60's... if you are young you may enjoy the loud music from other boats or your boat may be a noisy boat. Inquire on ages of passengers before booking.
