Highlights of PortugalThe accommodations were comfortable , except for the 1st hotel where the reception was totally unaware of our reservation.& didn’t know G Adventure ... had to have G Adventure rep call him & enlighten him. This experience is bad! However, our Guide , Marko was good . Only issue I have was that I was not aware that we had a lot of climbing Hills & multiple steps . For a heavy 76 yr man .. this was very, very Strenuous. The places we visited were very enjoyable & there were many activities we did. Tye best part of the visit was the Food was delicious & very reasonably priced.

Highlights of the AzoresA very beautiful place with wonderful landscapes, thermal baths, cheese and wine. Our guide Sasha was lovely and very informative as well as delightful to talk too. I enjoyed all the activities but do ensure you were good shoes for the home. recommend that a visit to the cheese factory is added the morning you arrive on Sao Jorge.

It was thoughtfully planned with every detail taken into consideration. Our tour guide, Pedro, was so knowledgeable about the history of Portugal that we learned so much that we did not know. Pedro was always on time and was helpful to help us understand many things about culture and processes. He was a valuable part of this trip. Daniela was easy to work with and helpful to plan an amazing experience. The Portugal Travel Center was worth every penny, and we will be using them again. We are planning another trip for next year to discover the northern part of Portugal. The whole team is amazing!

Such an amazing trip, highly recommend!

The tour director and driver were excellent but the program could have been better managed. The program priority was on optional trips and included items in the itinerary were brushed over. The two major cities , Lisbon and Porto portion were not done justice to. Just an orientation in the bus did not do justice to the town's. Instead of the winnery tour a historical places tour would have been better. Lisbon also, except for half a monastery ( without the chapel) what did we see? Thankfully we spent extra days in Lisbon ans explored the city. The other towns were
- Hiking the Azores
The hikes and info were great, even though some last minute changes were necessary due to trail closures. We had a fun, varied group of 13 and the logistics all worked well. The only disappointment was Hotel Zenite on Terceira Island - it was an aging hotel with poor service and should be replaced with a different hotel in the same area.
