Now that the world is opening up again, it’s time to get your safe, sanitised hands on a Sail Croatia trip.
Like every travel operator, Sail Croatia was heavily impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic with what would have been their 15th sun-soaked year in operation, a complete write-off.
But on the 29th May, the very first Navigator Cruise departed for an exciting week fully COVID compliant island-hopping week thanks to their Cruise with confidence health and safety measures keeping passengers and crew safe.
We spoke with Jayde Cox, Marketing Manager at Sail Croatia to find out more about how the company is committed to passenger safety and what you can expect on your Sail Croatia trip.
We’ve been working hard to ensure that we can continue to provide an incredible guest experience, whilst ensuring the safety of our guests and staff.
We are closely following advice from the Croatian government to implement a range of health & safety measures and procedures onboard our ships and yachts.
These include check-in screenings, staff PPE, weekly staff testing, increased cleaning procedures and hand sanitiser onboard every vessel.
You can read more about the latest measures we’ve implemented to keep our guests safe here.
Guests will need to provide proof of a vaccine, a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours or existing antibodies during the check-in process. If this information is not presented, we will have rapid antigen tests available to test guests before boarding.
Once onboard, guests can expect spaced service of meals, crew wearing PPE (if they’re not vaccinated), and an abundance of hand sanitiser!
We expect guests to practice good personal hygiene throughout their cruise and maintain social distancing wherever possible.
Navigating travel during these times can be challenging, but we are confident we’ve struck the perfect balance between keeping our guests safe and ensuring that everyone has an epic experience onboard.
Our onboard health and safety measures are constantly changing in line with the latest Croatian government advice, so it’s best to check out our Cruise with Confidence page prior to setting sail for the latest information.
We totally understand that it can be a challenging time to navigate travel in 2021.
This is why we’ve introduced our Cruise with Confidence policy, providing guests with peace of mind that if their plans change, they’re covered.
This flexible policy includes the ability to change a booking up to 30 days before departure or roll a booking over to 2022 with no fees.
Guests are able to secure their spot with a £50 deposit, with the remaining balance not due until 30 days before departure!
This gives guests maximum flexibility ahead of their Sail Croatia experience.
We’re seeing a lot of interest in our Under 39’s Yacht Tour experience, which is a 7 day sailing tour for 18 – 39 year olds.
Guests are able to book a whole yacht with their friends and sail the Croatian islands at their leisure.
This is a popular experience as guests are able to travel on a private yacht and yet they still get the ultimate Croatian experience.
Our Navigator Party Cruises are also in high demand and we’ve already seen our first Navigator departure of the 2021 summer set sail!
Oktoberfest is back in 2022 for the biggest and most beer-soaked festival ever!
Sweet hostels & ridiculously big adventures. Roam on over and let's get this travel-party started 🎉
