About this trip
Three days around Aurangabad taking in some of India's most significant rock-cut architecture, at an easy pace with a private guide throughout.
You start with the city's own history, Bibi Ka Maqbara and the Aurangabad Caves, before spending a full day at Ajanta, then a second at Ellora with side visits to a working temple and a hilltop fort.
It's a straightforward, well-paced way to see the caves properly rather than rushing them, with the same base each night.
