Can you actually go?

Before you fall for a country, check you can live and work there. Your passport and age decide which working-holiday visas are open to you — here's the honest answer in one tap.

What's a working holiday visa?

Live and work, legally

A working-holiday (or “youth-mobility”) visa lets 18–35s live in another country for 1–3 years and take paid work to fund the trip — bar work, farm work, ski seasons, offices.

Age is the catch

Almost every scheme has a hard upper age — usually 30 or 35 — and you must apply before that birthday. Miss it and the route closes, so the earlier you plan, the more doors are open.

It's reciprocal

Countries do deals with each other, so what you qualify for depends entirely on your passport. A UK passport opens different doors than a US or German one.
