About this trip
This is a classic Golden Triangle route with a proper wildlife detour built in — Delhi, Jaipur and Agra alongside three tiger safaris in Ranthambore National Park.
You move from Mughal monuments and colonial Delhi through the palaces of Jaipur's Pink City, out into the forests of Ranthambore to track Bengal tigers, then on to the Taj Mahal in Agra before finishing with the temples of Vrindavan and Mathura.
It runs as a private, fully guided tour at a moderate pace, so you get the history and the safaris without rushing either.
What you'll do
- Explore Delhi's colonial and Mughal-era monuments
- Wander the palaces of Jaipur, the Pink City
- Three safaris in Ranthambore National Park tracking Bengal tigers
- See the Taj Mahal at Agra
- Visit the temples of Vrindavan, land of Krishna
- Finish the tour in Mathura
- Private tour with your own guide throughout
- Tiger sightings on safari are never guaranteed, though you get three chances across the stay in Ranthambore
- Moderate pace with a mix of city sightseeing and early safari starts
Worth it if you want culture, wildlife, and luxury combined. Think twice if tiger spotting is your only priority—sightings aren't guaranteed.
- Three tiger safaris genuinely deliver; reviewers saw tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and diverse birds in Ranthambore.
- Guides are knowledgeable and warm; they explain local wildlife, conservation efforts, and cultural heritage in depth.
- Tiger sightings aren't guaranteed despite three safaris; one reviewer was 'lucky enough' to spot them.
- Long exploration days balanced by free time; itinerary well-paced for both sightseeing and rest.
