About this trip

This eight-day trip takes you by private car from Delhi up into the hills of Himachal Pradesh, then across to Amritsar for the Golden Temple. It's a mix of mountain scenery and one of Sikhism's most significant pilgrimage sites, covered at an easy pace with a private vehicle and driver throughout.

Himachal Pradesh was once a summer retreat for the British, and the tour takes in some of its well-known hill destinations along with Pragpur, India's first officially designated Heritage Village. From there you head to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple before returning to Delhi.
