About this trip
Seven nights aboard a traditional wooden gulet, cruising the sheltered coves and pine-backed bays of the Gulf of Gökova out of Bodrum. It is an easy-paced week built around swimming stops, quiet anchorages, and long lunches on deck rather than a packed itinerary.
You share the boat with 15-19 other guests in one of 8-10 cabins, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning (run on a set schedule by the captain). Meals are full board, with a rotating menu of Turkish home cooking, meze, and fresh fish, chicken, and meat dishes.
A couple of optional add-ons break up the sailing: a full-day trip up the Dalyan river to the ancient city of Caunos and Turtle Beach, and a half-day village visit with a mosque, breakfast house, and carpet-weaving atelier.
