About this trip
A day trip out of Tirana down to the southern coast, covering three of Albania's best-known natural spots in one run. You will spend time in Saranda by the Ionian Sea, swim at Ksamil's beaches, and finish at the Blue Eye spring before heading back.
In Saranda you get a walk along the seafront promenade, with views across to Corfu and time for a coffee or ice cream by the water. From there it is on to Ksamil, where the draw is the white sand and turquoise sea facing the four small islands offshore, with free time to swim.
The last stop is the Blue Eye, a deep freshwater spring surrounded by trees, where the cold, clear blue water is the main attraction before the drive back to Tirana.
