Croatia Island Sail

Start & end in Split 8 days Up to 50

About this trip

Eight days sailing the Dalmatian coast from Split, with the boat itself as your base and the route shaped by swims, sun decks and old stone towns.

You move between Hvar, Korčula, Dubrovnik, Trstenik and Makarska, swapping city streets for bays and beaches as the days go by. It's a slower, water-first way to see Croatia rather than a itinerary packed with sights.

Group travel on board, with your own private room to retreat to when you want space.

What you'll do

  • Sail the Adriatic from Split along the Dalmatian coast
  • Swim from the boat in quiet bays between stops
  • Wander Hvar's harbour and old town streets
  • Walk the stone lanes of Korčula
  • Explore Dubrovnik's old city walls and streets
  • Beach time at Trstenik and Makarska
Good to know
  • Easy pace, built around sailing and swimming rather than heavy sightseeing
  • Private room on board, but you're still living in a group setting for the week
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want an 8-day sailing trip with genuinely excellent group leadership and cultural immersion. Think twice if you're budget-conscious about the farewell dinner.

  • Guide Tom created daily itinerary sheets with clickable links and PowerPoints on Croatian history and culture.
  • Swim stops were exceptional and the balance of organized activities, nightlife, and free exploration felt genuinely well-planned.
  • Farewell dinner was overpriced with confusing cuisine mix and limited drink and menu options for the cost.
  • Guide communicated itinerary changes promptly and worked closely with boat crew, keeping the group stress-free throughout.
