About this trip
Eleven days across Peru's biggest sights, from Lima's streets to Machu Picchu, with a train ride in for the final approach rather than a multi-day trek. It's a good fit if you want the classic Peru highlights without carrying a full pack through the mountains.
You'll move through Lima, Arequipa and the Colca Canyon, out to Lake Titicaca to meet the Uros Islanders, before heading to Cusco and the Sacred Valley for Machu Picchu itself. Expect a fair amount of ground covered and a mix of city walking, canyon scenery and altiplano landscapes.
Guided throughout, with private rooms, so you get your own space to recover each night while someone else handles logistics and route-finding.
