About this trip
Seven days that take in Egypt's big three: Cairo, the White Desert, and Luxor. You start with the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, then head out to camp under the stars among the chalk formations of the White Desert.
The desert stretch is the standout — a night camping near Crystal Mountain and the Valley of Agabat, with a stop at the Black Desert and a soak in hot springs along the way. Meals, guide, camping gear, and transfers are all part of the package, so it runs as a proper guided expedition rather than a rough camping trip.
From there you fly south to Luxor, where qualified Egyptologists walk you through the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Three very different landscapes and paces in one week.
