About this trip
Seven days deep in the Amazon rainforest, based around the wildlife, waterways and communities that make the region what it is rather than a checklist of sights.
Expect time on the water looking for pink dolphins, a visit to the Meeting of the Waters where the Rio Negro and Solimões run side by side, and stops at caves and waterfalls along the way.
There's also a visit to an indigenous community, giving you a look at how people actually live in the forest, alongside the more classic nature-watching moments.
