Adventures in Patagonia

Start & end in Buenos Aires 14 days Up to 18

About this trip

Fourteen days through the far south of Argentina and Chile, from the tango streets of Buenos Aires down to the glaciers and granite peaks of Patagonia.

You'll cross between the two countries, taking in emerald lakes, the Beagle Channel, and towering mountain ranges along the way, with time built in to actually get out and walk on the ice rather than just look at it from a distance.

It's a moderate-paced group tour with a guide throughout, built around a handful of genuinely big-name sights rather than a packed checklist.

What you'll do

  • Explore Buenos Aires' neighbourhoods, the birthplace of tango
  • Stay within Torres del Paine National Park in Chile
  • Hike on the ice of the Perito Moreno Glacier in crampons
  • Cruise or view the Beagle Channel at the tip of South America
  • See Patagonia's emerald lakes and mountain ranges
Good to know
  • Moderate pace over 14 days, crossing between Argentina and Chile
  • Includes proper glacier trekking with crampons, so a reasonable level of fitness helps
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you're fit, love big landscapes, and can handle long days. Think twice if you need flexibility or dislike early starts.

  • Guide Luciano and local guides genuinely elevated the experience across multiple regions.
  • Walking with penguins and trekking Perito Moreno Glacier are legitimately standout moments.
  • 22km walks to Torres del Paine and Fitzroy demand solid fitness; not casual strolls.
  • Weather was great for these reviewers, but Patagonia's notorious for sudden rain and wind.
