About this trip
Eight days along Ghana's coast and forest reserves, mixing weighty history with hands-on culture and time in nature. It moves between coastal towns, rainforest, and a remote village rather than staying in one place.
You'll spend time at Cape Coast Castle, learning the history of its role in the slave trade, and later switch pace entirely with a batik workshop run by local female artisans. There's also a hike through Kakum National Park and a visit to farmers in Ankasa Village.
It suits travellers who want their beach time balanced with real substance — history, craft, and conversation with people who live there, not just sightseeing from a bus window.
