About this trip
Twenty days across Eastern Europe and into Turkey, taking in grand cities, castles and ancient ruins along the way. This is a long haul through some serious history, from Budapest to Cappadocia, with a fully guided group easing the logistics.
You'll move between countries and centuries — Hungarian architecture, Transylvanian castle lore, the classical remains of Troy and Ephesus, and the volcanic rock formations of Cappadocia. A home-cooked meal with a local family breaks up the sightseeing with something more personal.
