About this trip
Twelve days across Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, tracing the old Silk Road through cities that have been standing since well before the Common Era. You'll walk through tiled archways once used by traders, wander bazaars that have run for centuries, and get a real sense of how deep this history goes.
The route pushes beyond the obvious highlights into Tajikistan's Seven Lakes, so you get both the famous Silk Road cities and a quieter, more rural side of Central Asia that fewer travellers see.
This is a guided, easy-paced sightseeing trip built around history and culture rather than physical challenge, with a small group and a set itinerary doing the logistics for you.
