About this trip
Eight days moving through Costa Rica's wellness side, from coffee farms to volcano views to a beach with nothing built on it at all.
You'll start with a visit to a community coffee plantation supporting local farmers, then head to La Fortuna for yoga with Arenal Volcano in view, hiking, and time at the thermal hot springs. From there it's on to the quieter Rincón de la Vieja for more yoga and a mud bath, before finishing at Playa Carrillo, an undeveloped stretch of sand with no hotels or restaurants in sight.
It's an easy-paced, fully guided group trip built around slowing down rather than ticking off sights.

Worth it if you value guided wellness experiences with strong group dynamics and excellent local leadership. Think twice if you need seamless logistics and clear end-to-end communication.
- Guide Aryeri handled logistics and group dynamics with professionalism; travellers bonded genuinely.
- Accommodations felt luxurious; tours showcased Costa Rica's landscapes with skilled instruction throughout.
- Trip ends far from San Jose airport with poor communication; last day unexpectedly tiring and fatiguing.
- G Adventures office unhelpful with airport transfer advice; itinerary PDF lacked critical flight timing details.
