About this trip
Eleven days across Vietnam and Cambodia, moving from Hanoi down to Ho Chi Minh City before crossing into Cambodia for Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. It's a sightseeing-heavy route that takes in some of the region's heaviest history alongside its best-known landmarks.
Expect a mix of cities, a cruise on Halong Bay, and time in Angkor's temple complexes, with an easy pace and partial guiding throughout. Set up with families and groups in mind, and available over Christmas and New Year.
What you'll do
- Cruise Halong Bay's limestone karsts
- Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta
- Visit the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Museum in Phnom Penh
- See Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom in Siem Reap
- Spend time in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
- Easy pace throughout
- Partially guided, so you'll have some time on your own
- Covers two countries in 11 days, so travel days between destinations are part of the deal
