About this trip
This tour moves through the hills of North East India, starting in Bagdogra and working up into Darjeeling and Sikkim. You will take in tea-country views, Buddhist monasteries, and Tibetan sites as you go.
From Gangtok, the route pushes further north to Lachung, the high-altitude Yumthang Valley, and Tsomgo Lake, where the scenery shifts from orchards and monasteries to mountain valleys and alpine lakes.
It is a sightseeing-led trip with a mix of culture and landscape, suited to families and groups travelling together.
