About this trip
Six days across Cambodia, starting in Phnom Penh and ending in Siem Reap, taking in the country's royal history and its ancient temples.
In the capital you take in the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom before heading out through the countryside towards Angkor. There you get proper time at Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm, plus a visit to a floating village to see daily life on the water.
It winds down with a stop at the Artisans d'Angkor Silk Farm, a change of pace from temples and palaces.

Worth it if you get a strong guide and book direct with the operator. Think twice if logistics coordination matters—airport pickups and schedule clarity are inconsistent.
- Guides like Phearin and Pirun were knowledgeable, passionate, genuinely cared about explaining Khmer history properly.
- Airport pickups failed multiple times; one guide forgot entirely and didn't contact traveller for two days after arrival.
- Tour itinerary timing wasn't explicit upfront; sunrise at Angkor Wat was missed twice due to late guide arrivals.
- Hotel issues: closed pools not flagged, blood-stained bedding on arrival, construction noise at night—request specifics before booking.
