About this trip
Eight days covering the north and centre of Vietnam, moving from the capital's old streets to the limestone karsts of Halong Bay, then south to the lantern-lit lanes of Hoi An.
You start in Hanoi taking in the city's history and the buzz of the Old Quarter, then head out to Ninh Binh before cruising Halong Bay overnight among the karsts and caves.
From there you fly to Danang and settle into Hoi An, with time to walk the Old Town and the Thu Bon River, plus a day trip up to Bana Hills and the Golden Bridge.
