About this trip
Eight days by train through Central Europe's Christmas markets, starting in Budapest and finishing in Zagreb as its Advent festival lights up the city.
Along the way you'll stop in Graz, where markets spread across the city, then take in the winter scenery around Ljubljana and Lake Bled before the final stretch into Croatia. Expect wooden stalls, regional food and drink, and a lot of time spent outdoors in the cold.
This is a small group trip with private rooms and a fully guided structure, moving by rail between cities rather than coach or flight.
