About this trip
Eight days through Palawan, moving from Manila down to some of the Philippines' quieter coastal corners. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of free time built in to explore beaches, villages and towns at your own speed.
Expect island hopping around El Nido, snorkelling in clear water, limestone caves and a mix of local culture and coastal scenery. It's less about ticking off sights fast and more about settling into a slower, laid-back way of life.
What you'll do
- Hike to the Batak and Tagbanua tribal village in Sitio Kawasan
- Island hop around El Nido
- Snorkel the waters of Port Barton
- Explore the limestone caves of Sabang
- Watch fireflies at dusk along the Iwahig River
- Palawan is less developed than other parts of southeast Asia, so service at local restaurants can be slow
