About this trip
This is a five-day loop through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, the classic Golden Triangle, done as a private guided tour starting and ending in New Delhi.
You'll take in the big monuments — Delhi's political and cultural landmarks, Agra's Taj Mahal, and Jaipur's pink-hued old city — while getting a proper look at how people actually cook and eat, with a class and a home-cooked dinner thrown in.
It's a good fit if you want the headline sights of India covered efficiently but still want a bit of warmth and hands-on culture alongside the monument-ticking.
What you'll do
- See the Taj Mahal at both sunrise and sunset
- Explore Agra Fort
- Wander Jaipur, the Pink City, and its historic sites
- Take a hands-on Indian cooking class
- Share a home-cooked dinner with a local host
- Cover the main sights of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur
- Private and fully guided, so pace and focus can flex to suit you
- Covers three cities in five days, so expect a fair amount of road travel between stops
- Billed as relaxing and family-friendly rather than a packed, rushed itinerary
Worth it if you value attentive guides, seamless logistics, and genuine local connections. Think twice if you prefer spontaneity over a structured itinerary.
- Every guide was a skilled photographer who explained sites clearly, from Mehtab Bagh history to Fatehpur Sikri architecture.
- The cooking class with Tejveer, Nidhi and Angel felt like visiting family; travellers described feeling genuinely welcomed in their home.
- Driver Ajay and Puran consistently made solo travellers and young women feel safe and comfortable throughout five days of travel.
- Itinerary is tightly packed with structured activities; limited flexibility unless you negotiate adjustments with organisers beforehand.
