About this trip
Four days built around Hwange National Park, one of the wilder corners of this part of Africa, where you're in with a real shot of seeing elephant herds, lions and African wild dogs moving through grassland and mopane woodland.
You'll take up position at hides and viewing points overlooking waterholes such as Mandavu and Masuma dams, and the Nyamandhlovu Pan with its elevated platform, watching animals come to drink. There's also a stop at Bumbusi National Monument, with its 18th-century ruins and rock carvings.
The trip finishes with Victoria Falls itself, the Zambezi waterfall on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border and one of the most recognised natural sights on the continent.
