About this trip
Seven days that cover the three places most people want to see in northern Vietnam: Hanoi's old streets, an overnight cruise on Halong Bay, and a couple of days up in the hills around Sapa.
The pace is relaxed rather than packed. You get a proper look at Hanoi, a night on the water among the limestone karsts, then a coach journey up to the highlands for some local culture and a short trek through the rice terraces.
It's set up as an all-inclusive package with hotels, cruise cabin, transfers, meals as listed, and guides throughout, so the logistics are mostly taken care of.
