About this trip
This 8-day route runs from Casablanca to Marrakesh, cutting through the heart of Morocco via the Sahara. It takes in imperial cities, mountain passes, and desert dunes rather than sticking to one region.
You'll travel from Casablanca to the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, then on to Fes for a guided walk through its old medina. From there the road climbs over the Middle Atlas through Ifrane and Midelt before dropping into the dunes at Merzouga.
The second half brings you through Ouarzazate's kasbah country and over the High Atlas to Marrakesh, where a guided city visit rounds things off. It's a compact itinerary that covers a lot of ground without feeling rushed.
