About this trip
Eleven days across Morocco, starting in Casablanca and finishing in Marrakech, with the Sahara in between. It's run as a private, fully guided family trip, so the pace is set around you rather than a fixed group.
You move from the northern coast at Tangier down through Chefchaouen's blue lanes, the Roman ruins at Volubilis and the old city of Fez, before heading south into desert territory. A night camping among the dunes at Merzouga is the centrepiece, with camel trekking to get there.
The route back north takes in gorges, valleys and UNESCO-listed kasbahs on the way to Marrakech, mixing historic cities with big open landscapes.
