About this trip
An 11-day guided tour across Italy by high-speed train, starting in Venice and finishing in Rome, with stops in Florence, Tuscany, Pompeii and Sorrento along the way.
You get a mix of city walking tours and free time, with a few set-piece experiences built in: a gondola ride in Venice, a day trip to Capri, and a cruise along the Amalfi Coast from your base in Sorrento.
It's a fairly classic first-timer's route through Italy, covering a lot of the country's best-known sights without you having to organise trains or transfers yourself.
