About this trip
Eleven days moving down the Croatian coast, from Zagreb through Istria and the Kvarner Bay to Dubrovnik, taking in waterfalls, walled towns and a couple of border crossings along the way.
You'll spend time in Zadar, Split and Trogir getting a feel for their layered history, break up the coastal route with a stop in the Dalmatian hinterland for wine and truffle tastings, and finish in Dubrovnik with day trips out to Mostar and the Bay of Kotor.
It's a broad sweep of the country rather than a slow settle in one place, suited to those who want the greatest hits of Croatia plus a taste of Bosnia and Montenegro in one go.
