North Spain & Galicia Week

A week-long loop out of Madrid that covers a lot of northern Spain without feeling rushed into a single theme — grand cities, quiet coastal towns and some genuinely old stone.

You'll move through Zaragoza, San Sebastian and Bilbao before following the coast to Santander and the medieval streets of Santillana del Mar. From there it's inland to Covadonga and Oviedo, then west to Lugo's Roman walls and Santiago de Compostela, finishing in Salamanca.

It's fully guided throughout, with a private room each night, so this suits travellers who want the ground covered for them rather than working out routes and stations themselves.
