About this trip
Seventeen days across Scandinavia and the Baltics, covering seven capitals and cities from Copenhagen to Vilnius. It's a broad sweep — old towns, harbours, palaces and a fair bit of ground covered by coach, train and ferry.
You move through Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, taking in everything from Bergen's Hanseatic quarter to Riga's Art Nouveau streets. A cruise link between Stockholm and Helsinki breaks up the overland travel.
This suits you if you want a proper overview of Northern Europe in one go, guided throughout, rather than settling into any one place for long.
What you'll do
- See Copenhagen's Little Mermaid statue and Stavanger's old town
- Ride the Flamsbana scenic railway and visit Bergen's UNESCO-listed Hanseatic quarter
- Walk through Oslo's Frogner Park and the Vigeland sculpture park

- Cruise to Helsinki and explore Senate Square and Kauppatori market
- Finish in the old towns of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius
- Fast-paced — you cover seven countries and cities in 17 days, so expect regular travel days
- A guided group format throughout, with an itinerary built around sightseeing rather than free time
- Runs as a summer tour, so book with that season in mind
