About this trip
Seven days across Croatia and Slovenia, covering two capitals, a lake famous for its castle, waterfalls, an ancient palace, and the Dalmatian coast. It's a route built for travellers who want the big names ticked off without organising any of it themselves.
You start in Zagreb, cross into Ljubljana, then take in Lake Bled's hilltop castle and Plitvice's waterfalls and turquoise lakes before heading south to Split and its Roman old town. A stop for wine on the Pelješac peninsula breaks up the coastal driving before you finish in Dubrovnik.
Guided tours are mixed with free time, so you get context on the history and architecture but also space to wander on your own.
