About this trip
Eight days across Oman, starting and ending in Muscat, taking in the capital's mosques and markets before heading inland to forts, mountains and desert.
You move from the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Muscat's old souqs to Nizwa's fort and Al Hamra village, then up into the Green Mountain's terraced gardens before a night in the desert with the Bedouin.
The last stretch turns to nature — swimming at Wadi Shab, watching for turtles at Ras Al Jinz, and a boat trip out to spot dolphins and snorkel the Sea of Oman.
