About this trip
Nine days through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — the classic Golden Triangle — with an added leg to Varanasi for something more spiritual. It's a private trip, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) plus your guide, moving between the big historical sights at your own pace.
You'll cover the major landmarks — Taj Mahal, Amber Fort, Qutub Minar — with expert guides explaining the history rather than just ticking boxes. The journey to and from Varanasi is by train, which adds a slower, more local rhythm between the city stops.
In Varanasi the focus shifts from monuments to atmosphere: the Ganga Aarti ceremony on the riverbank and visits to old temples give the trip a different tone from the palaces and forts earlier on.
