About this trip
Six days through Egypt's Western Desert, covering Fayoum Oasis, the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis. Expect a mix of ancient landscapes, fossil sites and nights spent camping under genuinely dark skies.
You'll see the colour-shifting Magic Lake, walk among 40-million-year-old whale fossils at Wadi Hitan, and wander the chalk-white rock formations of the White Desert before settling in for stargazing from your tent.
There's also time to soak in Bahariya's hot springs and take in the older, quieter side of Egypt at Al Qasr's Islamic-era village and the temples of Kharga.
