About this trip
Four days in central Mongolia covering a good spread of landscape and wildlife without the long distances some trips demand. You move between the Khogno Khan Reserve, the dunes at Elsen Tasarkhai, and Hustai National Park, home to the wild Takhi horses.
Nights are split between authentic gers with nomadic families and a more comfortable ger camp, so you get both the homestay experience and a bit of ease. Expect to ride horses and camels, hike, and spend time talking with your hosts about how they live.
It's a condensed version of what Mongolia offers, built for people who don't have weeks to spare but still want the real thing rather than a highlights reel from a bus window.
