About this trip
Seven days across four of Italy's best-known regions, moving from Rome's ancient landmarks to Florence's art and food, through the Tuscan countryside, and on to Venice's canals.
You start in Rome with time at the Colosseum, Pantheon and Vatican City, then take the train north to Florence for a taste of local cooking. A day trip through Tuscany takes in San Gimignano, Siena and Pisa before you continue to Venice, where skip-the-line visits to St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace close out the week.
It's a well-trodden route built for people who want a broad first look at Italy rather than a slow, single-region stay.
