About this trip
Seven days across three of Greece's headline destinations, moving from the history and street food of Athens to the beaches of Mykonos and the caldera views of Santorini. This is a private tour, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) plus your guide, not a big group.
Days are split fairly evenly between guided exploring and free time to swim, eat, or wander. In Athens that means the Acropolis and a food tour through the city's markets and tavernas. On the islands, the pace slows down — Mykonos for beaches and nightlife, Santorini for sunsets over the caldera.
There's room to add optional cruises along the way, including BBQ lunches and swim stops, if you want more time on the water rather than on land.
What you'll do
- Guided walk through the Acropolis in Athens
- Food tour sampling Athenian delicacies
- Free time on Mykonos' beaches, with an optional island cruise
- Semi-private cruise around Santorini's caldera
- Sunset views from Santorini
- Private transfers and guiding throughout
- Private tour — pace and focus can flex around you rather than a fixed group itinerary
- Some of the best bits (cruises, extra beach time) are optional add-ons rather than included as standard
- Good fit if you want a mix of proper sightseeing and beach downtime rather than one or the other
Worth it if you value seamless logistics, local knowledge, and genuine upgrades. Think twice if you're particular about mattress firmness.
- Itinerary arrives next day after booking with hotel names confirmed; no vague promises or delays.
- Complimentary 5-star upgrades in Santorini (Majestic Hotels) without upselling; staff genuinely helpful, not pushy.
- Mykonos hotel (Thexonia) had notably hard beds; comfort varies by property despite good overall curation.
- Drivers consistently on time; guides provide specific local tips and hidden spots, not generic recommendations.
