About this trip
Eight days of self-guided walking across the Akamas Peninsula in Cyprus, starting inland among the stone villages of the Laona Plateau before working your way out to the coast.
You cover a good spread of ground on foot — waterfalls, chapels, wineries, sea caves and some of the peninsula's best beaches — with your luggage moved on for you between hotels so you're free to just walk.
The pace is easy and the route is yours to follow at your own speed, taking in wide coastal views along the way rather than rushing between sights.
