About this trip
Six days based in Fort William, walking some of Scotland's best-known routes with two qualified guides, building up to a summit push on Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK.
You're based in one place throughout, so evenings mean the same charming Scottish town, its pubs, and a proper chance to recover before the next day out. Days cover sections of the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way through landscape that shifts from glens to lochside to open mountain.
This is a serious hiking trip rather than a gentle wander. The terrain is often steep, narrow and uneven, and the weather in the Scottish mountains can turn from sun to rain to snow within hours, so a good level of fitness and the right kit matter.
