About this trip
This trip pairs Colombia's two headline cities with a stretch of Caribbean coast, giving you a proper mix of urban culture and jungle-and-beach time in eight days. You'll be based in Medellín and Cartagena, with day trips out to the sights that make each region worth visiting.
It's built for solo travellers who don't want to plan solo, moving in a small group but leaving room to explore independently. Expect good food, strong coffee, and the kind of local detail you'd struggle to piece together on your own.
What you'll do
- Explore Medellín's neighbourhoods and street art
- Climb the rock at Guatapé for views over the reservoir
- Trek jungle trails in Tayrona National Park
- Wander the old walled city of Cartagena
- Try local coffee and regional dishes along the way
- Partially guided, so some days are free to explore on your own
- Suits solo travellers happy to bond with a small group
- Covers both inland cities and the coast, so pack for both climates
