About this trip
Eight days based mostly around Paphos, moving between ancient sites, mountain villages and Mediterranean coast, with Cyprus's layered history and food at the centre of it.
Four guided excursions take you to places like Kourion, the stone villages of the interior and across the divide in Nicosia, while two free days leave room to explore at your own pace.
It's a gentle, culturally-minded trip rather than a fast-paced one, suited to those who want to understand a place through its history, wine and villages rather than tick off sights.
What you'll do
- Explore the archaeological site of Kourion
- Walk through stone-built villages known for their food and traditions
- Cross the dividing line in Nicosia to see both sides of the city
- Learn pasteli-making in the village of Anogyra
- Taste wine in the Troodos hills
- Four full-day guided excursions plus two free days for independent exploring
- Private rooms throughout
- Suits those interested in history, food and local culture more than beach time or nightlife
