SOUTH KOREA DISCOVERY TOUR

This is a full loop through South Korea, moving from Seoul's mix of old and new out to smaller cities and coastline that don't usually make the shortlist. Twelve days takes you from the capital down through Jeonju's traditional streets, the southern coast, and across to Jeju Island, before finishing inland at the ancient sites of Gyeongju and Daegu.

It's a small group, fully guided setup with a private room throughout, so you get the ease of everything arranged without sharing a room. The pace is brisk — this is a discovery tour that covers a lot of ground, built around food, history and landscape rather than sitting still in one place.

What you'll do

• Wander Jeonju's traditional hanok village and try its famous local dishes
• Explore Gwangju's cultural scene and the coastal scenery around Suncheon and Yeosu
• Browse Busan's markets and walk its shoreline
• Walk sections of Jeju Island's Olle trails and visit Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Seopjikoji
• Take in Gyeongju's ancient royal tombs and temples
• Finish in Daegu after a loop through nine different bases
