About this trip
An 11-day private journey across central Japan, from Tokyo to Osaka, with your own guide and driver throughout. It's a route that covers a lot of ground — mountains, old towns, temples and cities — without you having to work out trains and transfers yourself.
You start in Tokyo, head to Mount Fuji, then north to Nagano for the snow monkeys and on to Takayama's old town before dropping into Kyoto and Nara for temples and history. The trip ends with Hiroshima before returning to Osaka.
With a private guide and driver, this is a relaxed, flexible way to see both the well-known sights and quieter historic corners, geared towards families or anyone who'd rather not navigate Japan's transport network alone.
