About this trip
This 13-day route runs the length of Vietnam, from the old quarters of Hanoi in the north down to the buzz of Ho Chi Minh City in the south, taking in the mountains and the coast along the way.
You start in Hanoi's tangle of markets and old architecture, then head up to Sapa for a look at the rice terraces and hill-tribe villages that define the northern highlands.
