About this trip
Sixteen days moving through Vietnam and into Cambodia, taking in limestone bays, old imperial cities, lantern-lit streets and the temples of Angkor. It is a heritage-focused route that mixes guided sightseeing with time to explore on your own.
You start on the water in Ha Long Bay before heading to Hue and Hoi An, two cities with very different characters but both steeped in history. From there the trip crosses into Cambodia for the main event: the temple complex at Angkor, followed by a slower finish on Tonle Sap Lake.
