About this trip
Four days in the Cordillera mountains, moving from Sagada's caves and hanging coffins to the rice terraces of Ifugao. This is a trip built around walking, quiet villages, and landscapes shaped by centuries of farming rather than tourist infrastructure.
You start in Sagada, a small, traffic-free town known for caving, local coffee, and a slower pace, before travelling by private vehicle into Ifugao Province. There you spend two days among the terraces, staying overnight near Batad and hiking out to Bangaan, with waterfalls, traditional houses, and sweeping views along the way.
Transport is a mix of public buses and private vehicles, and the pace is active — this is as much about walking through the terraces as looking at them.
