About this trip
Fourteen days built around Sri Lanka's remarkably varied landscape, from rainforest to cloud forest to open plains, all within a small island. The pace is easy, the focus is wildlife and scenery rather than ticking off sights.
You'll spend time in national parks and reserves looking for elephants, leopards, buffaloes, bears and crocodiles, with a chance to see whales off the coast. Waterfalls, mountain ranges, rice fields and tea, rubber and coconut plantations fill out the days between parks.
It's a trip for people who want nature and a bit of culture alongside it, at a relaxed, family-friendly pace.
